Re: export tasks on a schedule

Hello

At the moment this is not possible, but it would be something fairly easy to add to the component if required. Are you thinking of saving the results of a SQL command to a file on a regular interval?

Thanks

Re: export tasks on a schedule

Hello

We have added this functionality to the SQL Manager Pro component. At the moment, you can only specify an interval rather than a specific time (for example, every 1440 minutes would process every day etc).

You can export a list of table to a file, or SQL command to a CSV file.

To access this you will need to purchase a copy of SQL Manager Pro.

Let me know if you can think of any further improvements to this system.

Thanks

Re: export tasks on a schedule

Hello

Yes, you could use a SQL command for this. You would have to do a single export entry and file for each export but it would work.

Thanks

Re: Audit Message

how easy would it be to be able to create a button and place on front end or back end, with a specified saved SQL statement/command, so when button is pressed, saved statement/command is run.

Re: export tasks on a schedule

Hello

You can ran the saved statements manually on the backend of your site by viewing your scheduled exports and using the Run button. This can be found by going to Components -> Freestyle Joomla -> SQL Manager Pro -> Scheduled Exports.

Unfortunately there isn't a way of running them on the frontend of your site. It would be possible with a bit of custom php and something like Includes: Code (free version would be OK) to publish a frontend button if needed . If you need the code for this let me know.

Thanks
