Caching appears to disable accordian style opening of FAQs

Hi, I am using the latest Freestyle FAQ Pro v3, released Sept 12.

I also recently enabled "Progressive Caching" of this site, which uses a recent Rockettheme template. Caching a site is new to me, so I may be doing something incorrectly, but have noticed that since I enabled this caching, the individual FAQ items will no longer open, and clicking on their title has no effect whatsoever. Within a category, I have it set for default accordian style, so when I click on one title, the FAQ should expand to open within the accordian style listing.

Follow-up- I experimented with adding paths to the Freestyle FAQ page URLs to the caching plug-in manager's Ignored Pages section of the settings, and that appears to fix the problem - but I'm wondering if that is the recommended approach, or if I should possibly consider using a different caching software, or maybe I'm doing something wrong in the initial caching configuration.

Any suggestions regarding use of Caching plug-ins as it relates to Freestyle FAQ Pro v3?

Hello

The component should not be affected by caching, and tests so far have not been able to replicate this. Can you open a support ticket with access details for your site please and I will take a look.

We only test with the standard Joomla caching system, and not any external plugins. If the issue is caused by an external plugin, you will need to contact the developers of the plugin and ask them as it will be the plugin changing the components javascript code and not something that can be fixed by us.

Hi Adam,
Since adding the path plug-in's Exclusions parameter, it is now functioning - but I will contact Rockettheme and ask about this as well since that particular plug-in is one of their standard plug-ins that the provide with every one of their templates. Given what you said about the plug-in code causing any issue, I'd like to find out from them if there's something I can do to fix it without having to resort to excluding the extension.
Let me do that, then if not resolved, I'll open the support ticket and get you the login information. Should be by this Monday at latest.
