Glossary Config - Doing Something Wrong?

I've got a glossary using FAQs Lite that I've just installed. I was using a category list, but I wanted the accordion style glossary and stumbled on your extension (100/100 score).

But I can't seem to get it to work.

  1. I don't really quite understand the difference between "Description" and "Long Description".

  2. I'm not sure what the Templates config does--am I supposed to put this code into my template? Or is it done for me automatically?

  3. I enabled the Content Freestyle FAQs Glossary plugin, but not the search ones.

  4. When I added a glossary term to an existing article to test it, the entire article disappeared (except for some headings).

  5. The accordion function doesn't work on my Glossary page. It's created as Menu Item Type Glossary: List Terms.

It would be great to get help in figuring out what I'm doing wrong. Also, I didn't know whether I should post this in the Support Portal or the FAQs Lite forum.

Cheers!

Re: Glossary Config - Doing Something Wrong?

Hello,

We're very sorry for the delay on this reply.

1. The long description is not a requirement when adding a glossary item, it is just available if the user needs it.

2. For the template section, you do not need to add any of this code to your template, this is an area where you can add code to fix visual errors or just make adjustments!

4. Can you see any errors when this is happening? For example in the browser console?

5. I believe that only the FAQ's can be displayed in accordion mode, glossary items cannot be changed.

Thanks
