We are currently working on compatibility with Joomla 1.6 for Freestyle Support Portal. This should hopefully be available some time next week assuming things get fixed, as Freestyle Support 1.8. Joomla 1.6 has made a large amount of changes to how Freestyle Support is needed to be written, so hasn't been just a few simple changed as we had hoped.
V2 of Freestyle Support Portal is still in progress, but has ended up being a complete rewrite of all but the support system (all admin section, FAQs, KB, Announcements etc have been almost completely rewritten). As this is taking so long, we are bringing forward a large amount of the requested features from v2, and putting them in v1.8 of Freestyle Support Portal. Due to the high demand for Joomla 1.6 compatibility, not all of the features will make 1.8, and it is likely that we will create a 1.9 as well with the remainder of the requested features. We expect that 1.8 will be released towards the end of next week, and 1.9 towards the end of February. v2 should hopefully be arriving around the end of April, but 90% of the requested features have been moved into 1.8 or 1.9 so you should have access to them without having to wait months. Unfortunalty, one of our most requested features, Support ticket creation from an email account, will not be available untill 1.9 as we still have a lot of testing to do on this.
I sincerly apologise for the delays in getting the many great new features our users have suggested and requested released sooner than we have, but as part of restructuring our development process that is v2, a lot more work was required than first anticipated.
Regarding FAQs Lite and Testimonials Lite, there will be no Joomla 1.6 version available until v2 is released, at which point these 2 products will be back to being regularly maintained instead of being as they are now which is without updates for months at a time.
