Frequently Asked Questions - Testimonials Module

FAQs - Testimonials Module Questions about the testimonials module of Support Portal

Why do I need a testimonials section on my website?

Testimonials sections are a great idea so your users can see feedback from existing users so they can get some peer feedback on products. Having positive testimonials on your website will urge new visitors to take action and possibly engage in a purchase decision or continue using the website/service.

Having votes of confidence from peers is a powerful selling tool as opposed to pure sales messages from the website itself. Testimonials just provide another dimension of sales/information for your users to take advantage of and to sell your product.

What is Captcha?

Captcha is is a type of challenge-response test used in computing to ensure that the response is not generated by a computer. The process usually involves one computer (a server) asking a user to complete a simple test which the computer is able to generate and grade. Because other computers are unable to solve the CAPTCHA, any user entering a correct solution is presumed to be human (Wikipedia, )

Captcha is used in the ticketed support module, testimonials module and the knowledge base module (when users provide feedback). It can be turned on or off depending on your requirements.
